Add or remove languages
Under "Languages" on the site page, reselect your target languages and press "Save languages." Newly added languages are translated after the site is refetched. Pages for removed languages stop being served, and their URLs redirect to the original Japanese pages. The maximum number of languages is 3 on the Starter plan and 10 on the Business plan and above.
Change your plan
You can change your plan from "Manage billing" (the Stripe customer portal). Upgrades take effect immediately, and the difference is charged on a prorated basis. Downgrades apply from your next renewal date.
Billing timing
- Your card is charged for the first time when you sign up, and your subscription renews automatically on the same day each month thereafter.
- Receipts and invoices (including our Qualified Invoice Issuer registration number) are sent by email from Stripe and can be reissued at any time from "Manage billing."
- Previews are free, and no card registration is required.
Cancel your subscription
In "Manage billing," select "Cancel subscription." Your translated site remains published until the end of the contract period, and no further charges will be made. After the period ends, translated pages stop being served, and their URLs redirect to the original Japanese pages. Nothing happens to your Japanese site. Your translations and edits are retained for 30 days, and if you resume within that time, you can continue using them as they are.
Exporting your data
Translations (source text, translated text, and pinned status) and the glossary can be downloaded as CSV at any time from "Site information" in the dashboard. Translated pages being served are standard HTML, so they can be saved as-is with common site-saving tools (such as wget). Whether before or after cancellation, your data belongs to you.
Delete a site
To delete a site, go to the "Settings" tab on the site page, click "Delete site," and enter the domain name to confirm. Translated pages stop being served immediately, and all fetched pages, translations, edits, glossaries, and images are erased. For sites on a paid plan, the subscription also ends at the same time and no further charges will be made (no prorated refunds). Nothing happens to your original Japanese site. Deletion cannot be undone, so if needed, export a CSV from "Data" first.
